Aziz Rasooli, D.P.M

Dr. Rasooli is a distinguished, ABFAS board-certified and fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with a strong foundation in both clinical expertise and academic excellence. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and subsequently obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with honors from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Rasooli completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at the Veterans Affairs/Stanford Healthcare program in Palo Alto, California, where he trained at Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, and Sports Orthopedic and Rehabilitation (SOAR)—one of the most prestigious orthopedic groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. To further refine his expertise, he pursued an ACFAS-recognized fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Sutter Health–Palo Alto Medical Foundation, specializing in trauma, complex reconstructive surgery, and total ankle joint replacement.

Dedicated to global health initiatives, Dr. Rasooli actively participates in medical missions and has traveled to Vietnam, Mexico and South Africa where he has performed advanced foot and ankle deformity corrections.

Dr. Rasooli’s practice is deeply committed to restoring his patients to their pre-injury functional state through cutting-edge, evidence-based medical and surgical techniques. His clinical interests include complex fracture management, total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive procedures, revisional foot and ankle surgery, and regenerative sports medicine.
